How To Avoid Baby Nappy Rashes

Thursday, May 5, 2011
If your baby is crying all the time and you feel that he/she is very restless and uncomfortable and is not interested to eat well than don't be angry on your baby and realize that there is something wrong with your baby. Check baby's diaper, you may find some red colored rashes on his/her skin, a very common problem which usually a new mother face. It happened just because of our little carelessness. Nappy rashes sometimes become so severe that you find small pink colored pimples on your baby's skin.

Babies have very sensitive and soft skin, so it requires a great care to take. First step that a mother should take is to make the baby skin neat and clean and its better to wash your baby with water whenever you are going to change his/her diaper to avoid nappy rashes. In my opinion, you should not compromise on your baby's health, so the diapers you use for your baby should be very soft and good in quality. Diaper should change at a regular intervals of time. I feel that its better to change after 6-8 hours.

Mustered oil is very good to avoid rashes and if a baby get suffered by rashes its also has the healing power. Petroleum jelly is also suggested by doctors to apply on baby skin as it is use not only for babies but also for adults.

If your baby get severally suffered by rashes, certain skin protecting ointments are also available in markets but I suggest don't use any medicine without your doctor's prescription.
